Minority Loan Facility – Star of Mysore

The Karnataka Minority Development Corporation (KMDC) has invited online applications from eligible persons belonging to minority communities such as Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Jains, Buddhists, Anglo-Indians and Parsis, to benefit from loans and grants under various government programs for the year 2022-23.

Under the direct loan scheme, recipients who wish to start their own business or any business related to agriculture can avail loans of Rs. 5 lakh to Rs. 20 lakh with 4-6% interest. The loans can be used by pledging the documents of any land or building the beneficiaries. The price of the property they own should not be less than the loan amount. Under the Ganga Kalyana scheme, to qualify for a loan, beneficiaries must own at least 1.2 hectares to 5 hectares of agricultural land. A borehole worth Rs. 2.25 lakh will be sunk with the installation of the pump and electricity free for all small and micro farmers.

Applicants for all of the above loan and grant programs must be between the ages of 18 and 55 and must not have received any government benefits. Applicants must have a bank account linked to Aadhaar number and must be permanent residents of Karnataka. Applications can be submitted by logging on to https://kmdconline.karnataka.gov.in/Portal/ before November 15. A printed copy of the completed application along with other relevant documents should be submitted to the District Manager’s Office, Karnataka Minorities Development Corporation, First Floor, Maulana Azad Bhavan, Subhashnagar, Mysuru-Bengaluru Main Road. Vidyasiri Scholarship Program

Mysuru, Sep 24 (SSM) — The Department of Minority Welfare has invited online applications from eligible students from minority communities (Muslims, Sikhs, Christians, Jains, Buddhists and Parsis) to receive various benefits under the Vidyasiri scholarship program for 2022-23.

Eligible students can submit their applications by logging on to https://sevasindhuservices.karnataka.gov.in/ before 5:30 p.m. on October 20.
